Meet Sophia M. Kang, DDS

Dr. Sophia Kang is a passionate advocate for minimally invasive dentistry, prioritizing personalized care and treating each patient as if they were family. Her philosophy focuses on offering tailored solutions to meet individual dental needs, ensuring a comfortable and effective treatment experience.

Dr. Kang earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis. Upon graduating, she gained substantial clinical hands-on experience in pediatric, geriatric, and general dentistry, working in private practices across Tennessee, New York, and California.
With a commitment to staying current with the latest advancements, Dr. Kang has completed extensive continuing education courses, specializing in the restoration and planning of complex dental cases using state-of-the-art technology. She also has a strong interest in cosmetic dentistry, particularly through minimally invasive procedures.

Dr. Kang is a certified provider of Invisalign treatments. As a proud member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners, she ensures the best possible results for her Invisalign patients.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Kang enjoys exploring the outdoors through hiking, running, and traveling with her husband and young son. She also dedicates time to pilates and enjoys playing the piano and violin. Fluent in both English and Korean, Dr. Kang is able to connect with a wide range of patients, further enhancing her ability to provide compassionate and comprehensive care.
